We are in
1960 and
Dozza
it was still a country nearly forgotten, disowned, far away
from the great ways of communication and therefore from the
great currents of traffic, lacking completely in tourism.
In that year the Rocca Sforzesca, until then private residence
of Marquises Malvezzi-Campeggi, passed in property of the
Common one of
Dozza and
after an adapted restoration it came opened the public.
The problem was at the same time placed to introduce ""
Dozza to outside of the
local borders, "to carry" and convogliare towards
this laughing country the regional and national tourism: the
callback reasons were more than valid, the imposing and majestic
Rocca Sforzesca with its rich furnishing and its picture

gallery,
but also the particular structure urban planning of its historical
center, its agricultural products with particular reference
to its prelibati and fragranti wines like Trebbiano, the Sangiovese
and the famous Albana (an ancient one sonetto of an anonymous
poet define "

In those years the Prizes imperversano in our region and the

of the graduatorie, and the artists it considers you at par,
with equal prizes and acknowledgments for all. Since 1962

in this way exceptional Gallery of modern Art, the PINACOTECA
of the Painted Wall has been possible to prepare in the halls
of the Rocca Sforzesca one, equipped from one rich photographic
documentation with several editions: in the same Gallery some

save them from the destruction caused from the maltempo and
other atmospheric agents.
In eighteen editions of the "Painted Wall" svoltesi
up to now, beyond 180 artists they have left on the walls
of Dozza one artistic testimony, transforming of fact the
village in one Gallery of permanent Art, in rinomato and
a much searched cultural center, in one large tourist truth.
